ABC SIGNATURE STUDIO PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Based in Los Angeles, California, Musau is passionate about producing stories that explore the black female experience, uplift underrepresented communities, and highlight cultural nuances. As a first-generation Congolese Nigerian American, she defied the path chosen for her by her parents by graduating from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a degree in Media Studies that focused on TV Production and Editing. In a personal pursuit to hone her skills, Musau was selected for the competitive 36-Week media training program at Continuity. In the fall of 2018, upon completion of the program, she took a leap of faith and moved from the Midwest to the West Coast. Over the last several years, Musau has worked on diverse projects within the entertainment production industry, such as the 2019 BET Awards, The Masked Singer (S2), the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff show Station 19, and Apple TV’s Five Days at Memorial. Musau has worked as Producer on HARD and is currently in pre-production for FINDING JAMIA’S SPIRIT (2024) and WAYS TO FLY (2024). With every project, Musau is working towards a prominent career in the entertainment industry. Her goal is to continue advocating for stories that center black lives through the lenses of redemption and collective healing.

BREAKWATER STUDIOS PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Sharee is a St. Louis born and raised filmmaker who tells coming-of-age, self-discovery, and real-life stories where Black women and girls exist as full human beings on screen and feel seen, heard, loved, and affirmed beyond the screen. She credits Continuity’s 36-Week Program in 2017 with literally saving her life and offering a way of healing by finding her outlet and a vessel to pour her pain into as well as growing her confidence and rediscovering her purpose. Her career skyrocketed after the program: her short film “The Mountains That Made Us” was selected for both the St. Louis Showcase and the St. Louis International Film Festival . . . she was hired as a Production Assistant for shows on Netflix, Oxygen, MTV, and Comedy Central . . . and she produced and crowd-funded her own documentary short “Black Girl, Bleu” which has been viewed at festivals across the nation and won multiple awards including Outstanding Special Programming, Best Mental Health Promotion, and Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary Short. In 2023, she launched Starlight Pictures, which houses all of her heart-born projects.

Anthony Renelle Reed II, better known in the Art Community as 'Mojo,' is a professional Contemporary Artist based in Miami, FL. His upbringing in St. Louis, MO, granted him a profound perspective on his personal creative contribution and inspired him to bring uplifting awareness for his community. Anthony was a part of Continuity’s Advanced Editing program for the St. Louis-based documentary “Show Me Democracy.”

Mojo began to gain strong momentum once moving to Miami, FL, in 2018. His vibrant depictions of Black American Culture brought a strong sense of purpose to this colorful city. His intentional portraits, insistence on positive representation, and his masterful technique quickly put him on the map as an Artist to watch. His current Partnerships include Nike Inc., When We All Vote with Michelle Obama, Goldman Global Arts, Wynwood Walls, Forbes Magazine, HBOMAX, Viacom, Comcast, Xfinity, Ciroc, Love.Watts, NBCLX, NBC6 Miami, Savannah College of Art and Design, and he is an Executive Producer of the new PBS animated series “Drawn In” in partnership with Lion Forge Animation.

Alana is an educator, content strategist, and digital storyteller with a passion for highlighting underrepresented people, places and spaces. She received her Bachelors of Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Masters of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis. With her formal educational experience as well as her experience being a part of the inaugural class of Continuity in 2017-2018, Alana directed and produced her first documentary titled The Kinloch Doc - the story about the rise and demise of Missouri's First Black City. This film screened at the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase Benton Park Film Festival, and the St. Louis International Film Festival. Due to the local success of the film, Alana was accepted into the #IntheCity Artist Fellowship at Harvard University as well as a Works-in-Progress member of the Hayti Heritage Film Festival. Alana currently resides in Dallas, Texas where she works with budding brands, private companies, and organizations on how to integrate more authentic storytelling into their businesses.

ALIVE AND WELLL COMMUNITIES, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ACTIVATION

Ted is a prime example of taking what one learns and applying it to better their current situation. Born and raised in St. Louis, he grew up contributing in various ways from writing to acting and beyond for plays, radio commercials, TV ads, and short films with a heart for telling stories inspired by the community he served. After participating in a 48-hour Film Festival, Ted wanted to learn more of the creative process which led him to Continuity’s 36-Week Program in 2019. He attributes the Program for helping him “level up his career because it helped me tell better stories.” He is putting what he learned about formatting and designing engaging stories to work . . . creating captivating stories not just for grant funders but also for marketing purposes, assisting his organization in gathering community resident video testimonials to help with patient advocacy to create policy change in healthcare systems. Since finishing the program, Ted has also written a short film for a local nonprofit Love The Lou called “Vision” that is currently in preproduction.

OWNER OF TJS PHOTOGRAPHY & CREATOR OF HER EMINENT REIGN

Myrina Renaissance, a graduate of the University of Missouri- St. Louis, has educated over 1,500 people on NFTs in 2022. She became the first person to host an NFT Workshop titled NFTS Not Just a Buzz Word in STL and to do a TEDX on the subject. Myrina is a published fashion, portrait, and event photographer born and raised in St. Louis, MO. As the owner of TJS Photography, she created Her Eminent Reign, a photography exhibition honoring black women from the past. This project is currently on exhibition at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Overcoming much adversity, including being a teen mom, she’s now the proud mother of 5 children, a wife and homeschool French teacher, and a Board Member at Sovereign University located in the West End.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, “THE FIRE OF A DRAGON”

Colleen is a proud graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in TV Production with a minor in Advertising. Her storytelling journey ventured to an internship at Fox 2 News St. Louis, a short documentary, a live streaming event for a school event, and small passion projects. Her day job in the claims service industry currently pays the bills but after attending Continuity’s Set Basics Workshop in 2022, she found herself taking on her biggest film role to date. While at the event, she connected with another attendee, Edgar Montenegro, who was working on a personal feature film and looking for assistance. Their newly-formed friendship led to Colleen working as a production coordinator on his film, “The Fire of a Dragon,” and eventually leading to fulfilling the role of Executive Producer. The international film is set to be released overseas in 2023. She credits the Workshop for her “confidence and feeling equipped to be an asset to any set no matter how big or small.”

In mid-2022, James relocated to the Saint Louis area, where he has continued to expand his portfolio and take on new challenges in the world of commercial filming, with an emphasis on sports content. James was an accomplished athlete himself, having competed in both track and field and football. His athletic background gave him a passion for capturing the thrill and excitement of athletes.

James credits the Continuity program for teaching him new ways to network and connect with others in the industry. He believes that building strong relationships with fellow creatives is key to success in the film industry, and he has applied the skills and knowledge he gained from the program to expand his network and create new opportunities for collaboration.

AUTHOR, INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER, “TBI UNCOVERED” CREATOR/HOST

Erica describes her journey with Continuity as “a dream come true” because the organization embodies inclusivity and accommodated her being in a wheelchair so she could actively take part in the program. She credits the organization for transforming her outlook when it comes to limitations which she knows well. Two days after her 21st birthday, she was shot in the head and overcame the 5% chance of surviving. She defeated the odds and continued her rehabilitation while attending Continuity’s 36-week program. Now a published author, traumatic brain injury (TBI) coaching consultant, international speaker, and filmmaker, she continues to push boundaries. God inspired her to create her own online platform show called TBI Uncovered where she interviews other injury survivors of brain trauma, gun violence, and strokes as well as speaks to caregivers, medical professionals, and organizations. The show is now streaming on MaxDistro, Pod TV, YouTube, Hulu, Roku & more.

VIDEO EDITOR/MEDIA ASSISTANT @ WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY OLIN BUSINESS SCHOOL

Kaleb is a graduate from St. Louis Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Mass Communications Degree. He continued his storytelling journey by completing Continuity’s 36-Week Program which he credits for “helping me prepare for my career by allowing me to have the space and giving me the tools I needed to expand on my knowledge on perfecting my craft.” His abilities across multiple talents such as acting, martial arts, skateboarding, directing, and video and audio production has aided his creation of both short and long form content. His work on media projects includes "Target St. Louis Vol. 1" (won Best Feature Documentary at the Urban World Film Festival in NYC in 2021), "Honorable" (Short Film), and "The Fire of a Dragon" (Feature Film). He continues to apply what he’s learned and grow his career at Washington University as a video editor and media assistant.
